Food literacy is a set of interconnected attributes organized into the categories of food and nutrition knowledge, skills, self-efficacy/confidence, food decisions, and other ecologic (external) factors such as income security, and the food system. Here is a short video on food literacy.

This program is for children ages 3-6 years. Children learn with their parents about healthy eating and literacy. Prepare lunch together with your child and explode books and activities that support early literacy, math and nutrition. Parents must attend with their child. Registration is through the Early ON Centre at 1-866-720-7975.
