The CK Public Health Unit supports the Road User Safety Awareness For Everyone in Chatham-Kent (RU SAFE CK) committee to promote road user safety throughout Chatham-Kent.

The goals:

• Aim to reduce the incidence of injury & death on Chatham-Kent roadways
• To identify local needs/concerns & work collaboratively with community partners to address road safety issues.
• Educate & promote public awareness through various road safety initiatives
• Advisement to support the development of public policies that reduce risks associated with road user safety within the Municipality of Chatham-Kent.
