It’s helpful to plan ahead. A birth plan is a document that lets your health care provider know your preferences for your labour and birth experience. Similarly, a breastfeeding plan communicates to your health care provider the support you need to successfully breastfeed your baby. Use the plans below as a guide to find the information you need to make informed choices for your labour, birth and breastfeeding experience. Once you have all the information you need, complete the plan based on what is important to you.
