- How long babies usually breastfeed
- How to help your baby latch properly
- Where to find support if you need help with breastfeeding

Breastfeeding Parlour
It takes a village! This is a safe and welcoming place where you can get help and support during your breastfeeding journey.
You can meet with a Board-Certified Lactation Consultant or Public Health Nurse to talk about:
- How to help your baby latch and find a good position
- What normal breastfeeding looks like
- How to work through common challenges
It’s also a great chance to connect with other moms and hear what’s working for them!

Building Healthy Babies (Canadian Prenatal Nutrition Program)
This is a free program for those expecting a baby. You can join our Public Health Dietitian, Outreach Worker, and Public Health Nurses for classes online or in person.
You will learn about:
- Eating well during and after pregnancy
- How to care for yourself and your newborn
- Breastfeeding and feeding your baby
- New food skills
- And much more

Healthy Babies Healthy Children
This free and voluntary program is for expecting parents and families with children up to 6 years old.
You’ll get home visits from a Public Health Nurse who can offer:
- Education and support on topics such as:
- Having a healthy pregnancy and birth
- Breastfeeding and feeding your baby
- Helping your child grow and develop
- Caring for yourself and your family
- Helpful advice
- Referrals to community services
You do not need a health card to use this service.

This group is for mothers who have given birth within the last year and are experiencing mental health challenges.
