Oral health is more than just a pretty smile. At CK Public Health, we know how much the health of our teeth, gums and mouths can affect our overall health, and really, our quality of life.

Oral health can affect how and what we choose to eat, if and how we choose to speak and socialize, and poor oral health can even lead to some very complex health issues and chronic diseases.

That is why we want to make sure that all Chatham-Kent residents that are eligible to apply for the Ontario Seniors Dental Care Program, do!

Could you be eligible? Let’s see!

• Are you 65 years and older?
• Are you a resident of Ontario?
• Do you have an annual net income of $22,200 or less for a single person? Or a combined annual net income of $37,100 or less for a couple?
• Are you without access to any other form of dental benefits?If you answered YES to all of the above questions, then you may be eligible to receive FREE services and treatment through the Ontario Seniors Dental Care Program! Now, isn’t that something to smile about?

  So, which services are covered through the program? Take a look:

•Exams and x-rays
•Crowns
•Check-ups and cleanings
•Fillings to repair broken teeth and cavities
•Oral surgery to remove teeth
•Anaesthesia
•Root canal services to treat infection/pain
•Periodontal services to treat gum disease
•Dentures (a small co-payment is required for new dentures)
