The situation we are in because of COVID-19 is hard. But, the illness and the restrictions impact some people even more than others. Over the past days, we’ve shared how COVID-19 might be impacting a number of different groups of people.
COVID-19 has shined a light on the conditions that put some people in our community at higher risk of illness.
These conditions existed long before COVID-19. But they don’t have to continue.
This pandemic has given us a chance to ask ourselves – is this the normal we want to go back to? Or, is this an opportunity for change?
Through this pandemic, and afterwards, we encourage you to continue to ask questions about why some people have poorer health outcomes than others.
