WALK ‘n WATCH Challenge

Attention!  All residents who have children that play or practice soccer on the field behind the Courthouse!

Don’t sit – get fit  while your kids also exercise and you may have a chance to win a prize!

For the months of July and August, 2011, we, the Chatham-Kent Public Health Unit, in partnership with the Chatham Soccer Association,  challenge you to walk around the soccer pitch while your child or grandchild is playing or practicing.

The person who does the most laps will be eligible to win an IPod Nano and a pedometer (in the event of a tie, a draw will take place).

Once around the pitch = one lap. Five laps = approx 1 km (the pitches behind the courthouse are smaller than the pitches on other soccer fields)

What is a pitch? It is the area your child is playing on, around the 2 nets.

To join follow these 3 EASY steps:

1. Download your tracking sheet

2. Start recording your laps from July 1st to August 31st

3. To submit your total laps by September 5 click this link:  WALK ‘n WATCH
