“The Smoking Treatment Program for Ontario Patients (STOP) Program is funded by the Ontario Ministry of Health.” and is delivered in partnership locally with CK Public Health.
The CK Public Health STOP Program is designed for Chatham-Kent residents who:
- Are over the age of 18
- DO NOT have a primary care provider
- Use tobacco products and/or e-cigarettes daily
- Willing to set a quit date in the next 30 days
- Looking to access Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) to support their quit attempt (up to 26 weeks of patches, gum, lozenges or inhalers)
- Are able to complete an eligibility survey to meet program participation requirements
- Are able to attend a start up meeting in one of our monthly clinics in Chatham
- Are able to pick up NRT refills monthly while enrolled in the program
