Ever have someone come to your door to test your water?
They tell you some story about questionable drinking water and convince you to let them test yours for free. Then you hear that your water is bad and you need some sort of water treatment device they happen to be selling.
Well don’t be fooled! No one coming to your door is authorized to make a health-based test on your water. The tests they conduct are used to mislead you into thinking your drinking water is contaminated.
If you have any concerns about your drinking water quality call the Chatham-Kent Public Health Unit at 519-352-7270 or the municipality’s PUC at 519-436-0119.
