Don’t worry, here are some tips to handle food safely to prevent these food borne illnesses:
- Clean – Always wash hands before handling food. Use clean dishes and equipments to handle and serve food.
- Separate – Keep raw food separate from ready to eat and cooked food during preparation and storage.
- Cook – Cook meats to safe internal temperatures.
- Chill – Keep hazardous food like meats, milk and milk products cold at 4 degree Celsius or colder.
