Are you playing sports this summer? Wearing a mouth guard can prevent injuries to your face and mouth, and can decrease your chances of a serious injury or broken teeth cutting into your playing time.
Always rinse your mouth guard with cold water before and after you use it, and do not chew your mouth guard while you are wearing it! Mouth guards that are cracked or torn need to be replaced.
Call the Chatham-Kent Public Health Unit with any questions about oral health at 519-355-1071, ext. 5700.
Remember, your smile is a work of art; protect it with a mouth guard!
