The Chatham-Kent Health Alliance says the recent success of Chatham-Kent's Long Term Care Home COVID-19 swabbing initiative has proven that enhanced public health measures established in response to the pandemic are working. CK Public Health

Testing commenced on April 24 and was completed on May 13. Results of this testing produced 100 per cent negative results amongst 926 staff members and 765 residents from Chatham-Kent's seven LTCHs.

The Dresden Raceway says they have been given the green flag to commence racing.

Raceway officials say they expect to start racing on June 7th with qualifiers on May 31.

There will be no fans but you will be able to watch and wager online.

The Raceway has to confirm all details with CK Public Health. Strict guidelines will be in place if racing resumes.

CK Public Health confirms TWO new cases of COVID-19 in Chatham-Kent on Monday. These cases are not connected to the outbreak at Greenhill Produce.

49 cases are currently active with 45 of those active cases at Greenhill.

Chatham-Kent has 137 total cases with 87 recovered.

One positive C-K resident is currently in hospital. The Chatham-Kent Health Alliance is reporting 11 patients awaiting tests in hospital. These patients aren't necessarily in hospital FOR COVID and aren't necessarily Chatham-Kent residents.

2.367 tests have been conducted with 27 tests pending.

No new COVID-19 cases in Chatham-Kent today.

Two additional cases have recovered.

Yesterday, CK Public Health confirmed another 15 cases at Greenhill Produce. 45 cases are currently active at Greenhill with 50 recovered. That’s 95 of CK’s 135 cases connected to Greenhill.

The Chatham-Kent Health Alliance confirmed their second COVID death yesterday. That patient is NOT a CK resident.
