Back to School with Clear Vision

Complimentary Glasses Slider

Have all of your supplies ready for school? Pens, pencils, erasers, rulers, clear vision?

That’s right, one of the most important tools your child will need is clear vision. 80% of learning is visual and one in four children have vision problems. But don’t worry about this being yet another added expense, because eye exams are fully covered by OHIP each year for children up to 10 years of age and there are absolutely NO up front costs for your child’s eye exam.

If you have a child registered for Junior Kindergarten, we have exciting news for you! Students in JK can receive complimentary glasses from a participating Eye See Eye Learn optometrist and even better news – Chatham has local optometrists participating in this program! Click here to find where you can book your Eye See Eye Learn comprehensive eye exam. Make sure to scroll through the list of optometrists and click on the offices. Those participating will have an Eye See…Eye Learn indicator beside their name.

The Eye See…Eye Learn® program is available to children born in 2015 that will start junior kindergarten in September. This ESEL program beings July 1, 2019 through to June 30, 2020.

Our Chatham Real Canadian Superstore has a program in place to help make sure your children are ready for school. This program is available to children up to the age of 15 years with a current prescription.
