Building Healthy Babies

Are you having a baby?  The Building Healthy Babies program would like to help your baby be born at a healthy weight. Babies born at unhealthy weights are more likely to have health problems in their first year of life and beyond.  The Building Healthy Babies program offers group teaching on pregnancy, nutrition, breastfeeding, and infant care; support from Public Health Nurses and a Dietitian; and support from other moms.

The Building Healthy Babies program is offered across Chatham-Kent at the locations and times listed below.  Childcare supports are provided in partnership with the Early ON Child and Family Centres.

To learn more about how the Building Healthy Babies program can help improve the health of moms and babies, view our brochure or contact CK Public Health at 519.352.7270 x2903 .

Funding for this program is provided in part by the Government of Canada.
