To ensure you have a great experience the following tips are recommended to reduce your risk of infection.

Look and see if:

• The spa is inspected by the Chatham-Kent Public Health Unit.
• All work areas are well lit, clean and organized.
• The spa operator washes their hands before starting your service.
• The operator uses new files for your manicure and pedicure.
• You receive service with clean tools and equipment.
• You receive clean sheets, towels, robes etc, for your service.
• The operator does not double dip or place their fingers in the waxes creams or lotions.
• All single use equipment (emery board nail file, stick applicators, etc.) is discarded after use.
• Razors and blades are disposed of in an approved Sharp’s Container.

Serious infections can be spread if these practices are not being followed.
