Are you protected against HPV?

Have you received the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine?

In September 2007, we began offering grade 8 girls the HPV vaccination as a part of our free school-based immunization programs.

Beginning September 2012, this program is expanding to include eligible girls who did not receive their shots in grade 8.

Girls – are you entering grade 9-12 and did not receive the HPV vaccine? You’re now eligible to receive the 3-dose HPV vaccination free of charge.

A one-time catch up program will also be offered until June 2013 to girls who were in grade 8 during the 2007-2008 school year.

Not eligible for this program?  Contact us today to find out how you can still receive the HPV vaccine.

HPV is highly contagious and can cause many different cancers and infections in both males and females. There is no treatment, only PREVENTION.
